Based within a global financial organisation, you will be working through our client, a multi-national outsourcing organisation. A requirement has arisen for a NT SERVER SUPPORT ENGINEER, for a 3 month contract based in the heart of the City of London. Your main function will be to provide 3rd line support for the Global NT server infrastructure both NT4 and Win2K. You main duties and responsibilities will be: general NT4 and Win2K systems management tasks, performance tuning and analysis, fault finding, planning and testing software and hardware upgrades, data security configurations, Windows 2000 administration functions along with cluster administration. Along with this you will be MCSE and/or Compaq ASE qualified and have skills in: SQL, System Management, Microsoft SMS, Citrix Metaframe, Internet & Firewall along with Micosoft Exchange 2000. Ideally you will have the previous skills and experience in this area and will be MCSE and/or Compaq ASE. For this 3 month contract, my client will be offering £24 per hour.
