Our client, a global leader in the supply of digital TV Set-top boxes, has numerous permanent opportunities for excellent individuals. The role of Systems Integration Engineer is to ensure the successful integration of new software products and components into new and existing systems. Projects range from simple one-off software solutions through to major end-to-end broadcast systems. Acting as an interface between the development and delivery teams, you will ensure appropriate systems testing of the new releases and components prior to release. Applicants must have either: a background of integration and testing of software solutions in a systems engineering environment, 2 yrs Unix (ideally in HP-UX/Redhat) and a similar level of database admin in Oracle or SQL. OR, 2 yrs Unix system & database admin, must include extensive integration and testing of complex software. Knowledge of MPEG/DVB OR experience in STB's would be a distinct advantage.
