Capula Elan is a leading developer of Electronic Patient Record systems. Based in London or Stone (Staffordshire), you will be part of our expanding Project Management team. This is an excellent opportunity to get into the growing Healthcare IT sector. Summary of main purpose of the job: Management and delivery of healthcare systems on time and to budget. Position in the organisation: Responsible to: Senior Project ManagerWorks in conjunction with: Project Management team Main duties and responsibilities: · Management and replacement of healthcare systems for NHS/Private hospitals; · Management of project staff at customer sites; · Liaison with Chief Technical Officer and development team, · Project management of ad hoc in house projects · Liaison with contract partners and third party suppliers; · Production of Project documentation including PID, project plans (with resource & effort detail), status reports, etc.; · Adherence to Capula quality standards Knowledge and Skills Required: · Self motivated · Proven experience of managing and delivering projects (preferably NHS) on time & to budget · Sound knowledge of health systems, PAS/Clinical Systems & health service requirements · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written) · Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines · Knowledge of the government’s Information for Health strategy · Comprehensive knowledge of Project Management Methodology (PRINCE2) · Competent use of Microsoft Office & MSProject · Clean driving licence, ability to travel nationwide Standard Terms 1. Salary negotiable, paid monthly in arrears 2. 6 months trial period 3. 2 suitable references required 4. Proof of UK residence required 5. 20 days holiday plus English Bank holidays 6. 40 hour week 7. Normal working hours 09.00 to 17.30 including 30 mins lunch break 8.
