Job Purpose
Working in the company's New Media department the prime objective will be to build complex database web applications for clients. These applications involve the storage of thousands of images allowing quick and secure access to them.
Key Duties
Develop bespoke web sites making complex procedures easy for the user.
Build & manage systems capable of storing vast amounts of images in various resolutions.
Design websites to meet customer specifications.
Work closely with the department manager and others in the team.
Maintain a continuous assessment of new technologies.
You must be able to show a minimum of 3 years experience developing database driven web applications using ASP with Access or SQL server.
The ideal candidate will have be a good all round web developer and have good graphical design skills as well as the ability to perform complex SQL queries.
Must have 3+ years experience of the following: -
ASP
SQL
VB Script
HTML
Relational Database
Image editing software (Photoshop, Fireworks etc)
COM+ and client server application experience will be an advantage.
