Due to expansion my client has an immediate vacancy for an experienced Java Analyst Programmer in Edinburgh. You will have at least 2 years experience. Intermediate Java programming skills in core libraries java.lang, java.util, java.io and java.net, j2ee and mainly servlets. An understanding of Oracle SQL is highly beneficial as this is one of the companies core databases. Any experience in UNIX/Linux, ANT, Tomcat and Apache programming, HTML, XML and XSLT and PERL would be desirable, though not essential. In addition to the above you will have excellent analytical and problem solving skills and be able to work independently or as part of a team. The role will see you involved in the design, modification and implementation of software, testing of developed code, maintenance of existing code and documentation of code.
