Candidate will ideally have certification in the IT security field, 1 or more of the CCP, SSCP, or GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst certificates a plus, network, including the ability to analyse networking traffic down to the packet/datagram level, TCP/IP networking, protocols + exp working with network intrusion detection technology, understanding of host-based vulnerabilities + how they are exploited across both the Windows + unix. knowledge of shell scripting, PERL and/or Python + C/C++
