Our client provides a complete range of consultancy, delivery and support services, allowing them to offer clients specific areas of expertise, or full end to end solutions. Their industry knowledge is extensive, with particular depth in finance, telecoms, utilities, manufacturing and the public sector - meaning they don't just understand the technical issues that clients face, but also the business context. The company employs approximately 900 employees in the UK (9,200 in Europe) across sites in Belfast, Dublin, Edinburgh, London, Horsham, Oxford, Birmingham, Stevenage and Glasgow, and currently seeks a Systems Builder / End to End Support Analyst.
The role will be based in East Scotland, with an initial six month project in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will be likely to take on Team Leading responsibilities if required within the first 6 months.
Applicants will hold some or all of the following mandatory skills:
* Mainframe: JCL, COBOL, CICS, DB2
* Middleware: C++ and C#
You will also benefit from having the below desirable skills and personal attributes:
* VB
* Object oriented client server development
* Team player
* Client facing
* Flexible regarding non-standard hours
