Our client is a multi-discipline, full service agency based in Yorkshire. They are looking to add a Senior Web Designer to their in-house team.
Duties will include modifications to existing client websites as well as the design and implementation of full-scale, dynamically generated sites, including e-commerce sites that range in variety and complexity.
The right candidate will have the following skills:
A minimum of 3 years of web design experience.
Experience in client user interface design, dynamically generated websites, content management systems and development of other web applications.
Proven experience in organizing the information architecture and site navigation of a variety of websites.
Demonstrate an understanding of website usability, W3C accessibility guidelines and search-engine-friendly design principles.
Strong project management, research and proposal writing experience
Expert proficiency in HTML coding, and proficiency in ASP, CSS, SQL, JavaScript, .NET, XHTML, DHTML, XML and other scripting languages.
Strong understanding of website hosting protocols and environments.
Proficiency with Macromedia Dreamweaver and other design tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Experience with Microsoft Access and Macromedia Flash is preferred.
The Senior Web Designer will work as part of a team, but must be self-directed and able to take projects from conception through to launch with limited supervision. This position will also require direct client relations and therefore you must be a good communicator, both internally and externally.
