We expect the successful candidate to have real world exposure to the majority of the following:

Java (J2EE)
EJB v2 or v3
Object-relational mapping techniques - Hibernate or OpenJPA
Database Servers (MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle, DB2)
MVC framework ie. Struts v1 (or Struts v2)
Knowledge of JPA (Java Persistence API)
Tomcat or similar
