Our client is the leading supplier of Tetra radio terminals to the public safety market.
Due to success in the worldwide market their business is rapidly expanding. This has created a vacancy for a Software Design Authority specialising in security features, and end to end encryption in particular.
The role requires you to have a thorough understanding of the software development process (theoretical and practical), at least five years experience of embedded software development on real time systems, and knowledge of security features at a product level (including encryption algorithms and authentication protocols), the role would ideally suit a candidate with a Tetra or GSM handset background.
Experience of the normal software development tools (bug tracking, version control, configuration management, etc), Office tools (MS-Office) and project planning tools (MS-Project) are essential.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, communicative and inquisitive individual, motivated by producing quality work within planned timescales. You will need to be structured in their working practices, but also to possess a flexible, 'whatever it takes', attitude.
