R.F. Design Engineer (full cycle) to design radio systems for telecoms, healthcare, consumer goods and automotive applications inc. DECT and Bluetooth. As part of a close-knit multi-disciplinary team the ideal consultant will be responsible for design of radio circuits to component and printed circuit level, guiding and reviewing the layout; specifying test requirements and limits for the radio functions; working from and preparing specifications for radio system functions. Applicants must have 3 years working as a radio designer in the telecommunications or related areas with extensive exp. of RF circuit design, design of a wide range of RF circuit functions inc. matching of RF amplifier stages, stability analysis, noise figure analysis; synthesiser and PLL design, filter design; antenna design in the GHz region. Benefits include flexitime, profit share scheme, free lunches / refreshments, private medical and pension scheme. Salary range GBP35k to GBP50k.
