This major player in the 3D Production Software Industry is plotting the launch of a new, cutting edge suite of 3D Graphics Rendering and Animation Tools that will enable the Film/Broadcast and Games Industries to achieve unheard of levels of quality in their work. The company are now looking to hire a Support Manager to be based in the Cambridge Head Office and oversee the implementation of a professional, effective and comprehensive Global Support infrastructure to provide ongoing backup to major blue-chip users and high profile Game and Film/Broadcast production companies. Your background will need to include 3+ years in a senior technical customer support role, preferably with advanced 3D modelling and rendering packages. You will also need excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to analyse and solve problems effectively with advanced knowledge of product development and corrective actions. You will coordinate the activities of the technical and support staff including work allocation, problem resolution and the creation of documentation to cover common questions/problems and their resolutions and you will also plan and develop metrics for response tracking and customer satisfaction to ensure customers obtain maximum value from the product. Strong customer facing skills are vital including providing on-site assistance to key clients and supporting the marketing team at 3D Conferences and similar high profile events globally.
