My client is the world leading name in mobile audio technology who are looking for a Software Engineer with: DSP ASSEMBLER coding or Audio Algorithm Implementation ASSEMBLER. This is a very interesting role, however also a bit of a hybrid. In addition to ASSEMBLER, you will also have experience using C/C . On the DSP side of things we require someone who has coding using ASSEMBLER and NOT 'C' Compilers. Experience of ARM, Symbian or TI OMAP would be advantageous. You will work for a team that develops, ports and supports 3D audio algorithms on a range of mobile devices, such as mobile phones, PDAs and portable games consoles. Your Main responsibilities are to: Coding using ASSEMBLER onto DSP, Visual C and ASSEMBLY. Test and port 3D audio algorithms to mobile devices in Assembly and DSP. Speak to/support customers around the world on technical/implementation issues. You may also be required to travel to Japan every now and again. Fantastic opportunity.
