DELIVERY ENGINEER (Oracle, Unix), Southampton, ASAP, Up to £45K Mandatory skills and experience We are looking for demonstrable hands on evidence of the ability to test, install and configure complex technical systems. As 50% of the work will be on client site, the candidate must display excellent customer facing skills and be able to work under minimum supervision. The candidate should have a good understanding of the project lifecycle and ideally a project management methodology such as Prince2. The candidate must possess the following technical skills: Advanced Unix & Windows experience with the ability to install, configure and fault find.Strong Oracle administration to include experience of creating, backing up and recovering databases. Good knowledge of SQL. Have knowledge of network system and security concepts and be able to problem solve network problems.
