Our client has vacancies commencing early in 2007, for SHE Managers to work as part of site teams throughout the UK. Working alongside Site Managers on all SHE issues, as Health and Safety Advisor, you would be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy working environment.
You will be expected to carry out safety inductions, toolbox talks, monitor sub-contractors' method statements and risk assessments, and chair safety meetings on site. You will also carry out fire risk assessments and establish emergency evacuation plans. You will be responsible for co-ordinating the site activities of all working parties and to maintain up to date SHE files and records.
Applicants must have a minimum of NEBOSH Construction Certificate and a recognized Environmental qualification.
