Our client is a large European Investment Bank, looking for high calibre GMI Specialists within their IT Department, to work in contract roles for a minimum period of six months.
These roles are for very experienced GMI Specialist Analyst Programmers with proven extensive track record of IBM I Series (AS/400) ILE RPG based GMI development and support. In-depth experience and knowledge of derivatives products (futures and options), securities products (stocks) and securities clearing markets is fundamental; as is a full understanding of, and the ability to apply, programming standards, structured system development, software development lifecycle and project management methodologies.
A good understanding of IT networks and infrastructure is also necessary, as is the need to be fully MS Office product proficient, with knowledge of Internet Tools, Visual Basic 6 and Microsoft SQL Server skills.
