Our respected financial services client is urgently seeking an analytical Project Manager with practical problem solving skills. You will be responsible for targeting the company’s high-end aims by implementing and overseeing multi-million pound risk assessment projects. You will need to be a pragmatic individual with 3+ years relevant Project Management experience, possibly from within the financial arena. Delivery of major credit risk projects will require the coordination of various departments and good statistical knowledge. This is a hands-on role requiring modelling and analytical expertise along with skills in SAS, SPSS, S-Plus etc. Credit risk and scorecard experience is desirable. A good numerate degree such as Statistics, Maths, Economics, Physics etc. is essential. Managing these projects to arrive within budget / on time will provide a challenge and will require strong liaison skills in order for you to influence the process as you see fit.
