Job Summary:
This crucial role will enable this company to maximise the commercial return for energy produced. Hence you will be required to use spreadsheets and computer programmes, designed to comply with appropriate contractual and market requirements. You will also be responsible for correctly calculating spare plant capacity for the potential trading of power on the open market.

Main Tasks & Duties
-The collection of necessary information to ensure that all contractual obligations are met and that notifications are submitted on a timely basis.
-Monitoring plant production requirements against demands utilising the latest PC spreadsheets and advising operations on necessary adjustments.
-Working closely with the Teesside commercial team and customers, continually monitoring and making recommendations in order to ensure the requirements of customers and plant operations are met.
-Ensure necessary and effective communications (including data flows) are maintained with all parties.
-Monitor and manage fuel nominations received and production of inward nominations to meet requirements.
-Maintain procedures and update as and when necessary.
-Calculate plant capacity.
-Monitoring the electricity market with a view to the placing bids and offers.
-Provide cover for other related functions.
Essential Skills/Qualifications/Experience:
-A degree in Business Studies, Statistics, Economics, Securities, Commodities or Finance.
-Proven commercial acumen.
-Proven analytical experience with high levels of numerical and literacy skills.
-Proven ability to communicate.
-Proven decision making skills.
-Proven computer literacy skills in Excel, Access and Power Point.
