Major construction group are looking for an Internal Controls and Compliance Manager. The main responsibility will be to supervise procedures, ensure compliance with company policies, ensure documentation of company procedures, and report company weaknesses. Key elements of the role will be to carry out self assessment and identify gaps and action plans to remediate, Ensure compliance with control activities, assist in planning the audit through an internal review or Pre-Audit and maintain contract listing and synopsis documents. Candidates must be 2 -4 years PQE, have a good knowledge of UK and US GAAP and experience of SOX audit would be a distinct advantage. This position is a temporary to permanent role and the role will be starting early January. Please do not delay in your response.
