Assistant Management Accountant required to both operate as part of the Corporate Finance Management Accounts team in supporting financial planning, monitoring and reporting and to sit as a management team member on two or more district or department management teams. For the latter, to be responsible to the appropriate district commander or departmental head for the management of all budgetary control processes, efficiency planning, grants reporting / advice and support to financial decision making processes.<br>The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with management accounts experience, who is dynamic and an has experience of operating a sophisticated financial IT system along with good general IT skills (Word, Excel). They will be an excellent communicator who is confident and able to present to senior members of staff including non financial heads of departments. You must be a strong team player and previous experience of managing staff is desirable, along with some public sector experience.<br>The position is within the dynamic finance department of a large local public service provider across the Sheffield area, offering excellent opportunities for the right candidate.
