One of the UK's leading Independent Financial Advisers with a network of 10 offices throughout the UK and 8 Registered Individuals in the Glasgow office. In this office, 80% of the business is pensions and the role will involve 95% pensions. The role of Paraplanner will involve being responsible for the production of accurate and concise financial planning reports which are technically/factually accurate and of a high quality standard within the company's internal service standards. Investigating clients' needs and researching the most suitable product provider, in addition to researching suitability of new products for future clients. Assessing the accuracy and consistency of information gathered by Consultants, bearing in mind internal compliance requirements and, where necessary, raising appropriate queries.
Due to the business split in this busy Glasgow office, you must possess the full Financial Planning Certificate and ideally the successful applicant will hold the G60 (Pensions) paper of the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate, along with a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role. Experienced in using the Aequos and Key software would be advantageous, but is not essential. If you do not hold the G60 paper then a good working knowledge of group schemes is required.
