The role of the accounts clerk will primarily have responsibility for the purchase ledger including posting invoices onto the system, matching to proof of delivery and preparing for payment. You will be responsible for raising invoices and sending supplier statements. At time there will also be some cover on payroll where necessary.<br>The candidate must have good excel skills as you will be responsible for maintaining spreadsheets using formulas. Good communication skills are required for liaising with staff and suppliers. This role would suit a strong team player.<br>Our client is a leading distribution firm, this is a good opportunity for someone looking to join and support an established team working three full days a week.<br><b>Only applicants with a minimum of six months accounting experience, who are based in the UK and have the legal right to work in the UK will be considered.</b>
