This accounts assistant position will involve all aspects of purchase, sales and nominal ledger preparation, dealing with accruals and prepayments, bank reconciliation, general ledger reconciliation, updating the main accounts and assisting in the month end close down.<br>the ideal person for this role must be studying towards AAT qualifications, or be AAT qualified, have at least 1 years'' previous experience, be a team player and be fully computer literate and proficient on excel.<br>My client is a large blue chip business based in Nottingham looking for an accounts assistant to add to the current accounts team.<br><b>Only applicants with a minimum of six months accounting experience, who are based in the UK and have the legal right to work in the UK will be considered.</b>
