The role of payroll clerk will have the responsibility for inputting payroll information onto the system for 240 people weekly and processing 60 salaried employees. You will also calculate gross to net figures. As the payroll officer you should be expected to calculate tax figures and other payroll related issues such as SSP and SMP.<br>The ideal candidate is someone who has worked within a similar role for the past two years. They should have excellent communication skills and technical understanding of payroll. Experience of purchase ledger is preferred but not essential<br>Our client is a manufacturing business located north of Newark, they currently require an additional member within their team to be responsible for the payroll function, there will also be some support on the purchase ledger.<br><b>Only applicants with a minimum of six months accounting experience, who are based in the UK and have the legal right to work in the UK will be considered.</b>
