JOB PURPOSE:
To support the efficient day-to-day and strategic management of the dept, and to effectively manage staff under the IT quality function while striving for continuous improvement.
* Staff management.
* Process management.
* Production of MI.
* User/customer liaison.
* Establishing appropriate metrics.
* Support changing business environment.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:
To ensure appropriate availability of business/IT systems/services to users/customers.
To identify areas across IT where quality improvement is needed and can be implemented.
To support and drive forward the acceptance of best practice throughout dept. functions.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
* Managing relationships (clients and stakeholders).

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, EXPERTISE and QUALIFICATIONS:
* Knowledge of services within the clients customer offering.
* ITIL qualified.
* Experience of quality frameworks.
* Understanding of how technology supports the business.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skill
