Our client is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join them in their Home counties Office. The successful candidate will have a varied accounting background and looking for a new challenge heading up the accounts of this successful Company.
You will be reporting directly to the Managing Director and become responsible for all Financial areas. With the assistance of 1 junior accountant, you will be required to produce full statutory accounts, management accounts, P & L along with regular forecasting and budget management.
Your job purpose will be to ensure accurate accounts are kept, all goods are invoiced and dues collected. To provide monthly financial situation reports and finance support to the Managing Director, Bank and other business areas as required. To ensure costs are kept within limits agreed with the Directors. To review all areas of the business for efficiencies that can be made without compromising the overall structure and ethos of the business. To manage the personnel for accounting, IT and Admin/Reception.
