Part Time Bought Ledger Clerk starting in January - £9 per hour - Temporary The main responsibilities of this role are to ensure all purchase invoices are processed in a timely and efficient manner by the Purchase Ledger Clerks and to deal with day to day queries and staffing issues. Responsibility to ensure that the day-to-day invoice processing is kept up to date Ensuring that the purchase ledgers close according to timetable Ensuring that statement reconciliations are carried out regularly Ensuring that the workload is distributed equitably Ensuring that all nominal accounts relating to the purchase ledger are reconciled and cleared on a monthly basis (including ensuring that VAT transactions are posted correctly and that the purchase ledger balance agrees to the purchase ledger control account) Assist the procure to pay process manager with process improvement identification and implementation.
