Experience of working in a finance department Working knowledge of sales and purchase ledger accounting and reconciliations Qualifications Ideally graduate Preferably part qualified accountant (CIMA) Key Challenges Ensuring adequate financial control while balancing the need for efficiency Understanding key risks and controls within the department Investigation and clean up of incorrect or erroneous postings LIaising with the accounts department where appropriate The role requires a highly motivated individual capable of taking the initiative to identify and solve problems without waiting to be directed It will be necessary to build relationships with the central accounting functions and coordinate certain activities within them Please email your cv to lindsey.edwards@roberthalf.co.uk
