Due to the nature of how this role has evolved, my client is now looking for someone to start with immediate effect. You will be working as the Assistant Finance Manager, your duties will involve assisting the finance manager in managing the finance department including a small team of people. The post holder will also be responsible for budgets, statutory accounts and the general running of the department.<br>We require an individual who is part qualified or qualified by experience, ideally AAT. You will have broad financial management experience, and at least 12 months experience working in an accounting environment ideally within the realm of public sector. The role is to cover maternity and will extend for at least 7 months.<br>Our client is a highly successful housing association in Manchester who has a friendly and dynamic finance department, and a strong community presence.
