Credit Control Clerk required to cover long term sickness. Main duties will include the chasing of overdue accounts by telephone and letter, processing credit notes and building on existing relationships with key clients. The role will provide you with every opportunity to exercise your own judgment regarding the best course of action to recover debts.<br>You should be a tenacious character with a confident telephone manner. With at least 6 months experience in credit control the ideal candidate will also have excellent communication skills and in particular the ability to communicate with non finance staff. Experience within the Public sector is essential.<br>My client is a large local Government authority working in a friendly and open team, with good support structure and potential for growth.<br><b>Only applicants with a minimum of six months accounting experience, who are based in the UK and have the legal right to work in the UK will be considered.</b>
