Payroll Clerk is required to join a large and busy finance department within the public sector. Reporting to the Payroll Manager you will be covering payroll of around 1000 staff on both a weekly and monthly basis. You will deal with input, bacs runs, starters and leavers, SSP, SMP, SPP, NI and tax as well as handling queries.<br>You must have at least 12 months payroll experience and be capable of manual calculations. With a proven track record of processing SSP, SMP, SPP, NI and tax you must be available immediately. The role will deal with some personnel issues and since you will be dealing with confidential queries a large degree of discretion is essential.<br>My client is a large Public sector organization in the North Manchester area and they are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join the busy payroll section.<br><b>Only applicants with a minimum of six months accounting experience, who are based in the UK and have the legal right to work in the UK will be considered.</b>
