Financial Accountant required for completion of the Annual Accounts in a timely and accurate manner, and assisting in ensuring that the PCT meets its statutory financial duties of hitting its cash limit, resource limit, capital resource limit and NHS Prompt payment policy. The post holder also has responsibility for completion of other statutory returns, specifically VAT returns, non-discretionary returns to the Department of Health, and annual payroll returns to the Inland Revenue. The post holder will assist in management of the Balance sheet.<br>Preferably CCAB qualified with a minimum of 2 years financial accounting experience, two of them within a senior level within the finance function. NHS experience is preferred but not essential.<br>One of the UK''s leading trust based in the North West with a scope to expand even further in 2006 are looking for a Control Accountant for a temporary assignment that will take you into the summer.
