Payroll Clerk required to assist with a large and complex payroll of numerous NHS organisations in the area. The role is fast paced with tight details and requires acute attention to detail. Key duties will include inputting and reconciling weekly and monthly payrolls and the maintenance of SSP, SMP, NI and PAYE. The role will involve some personnel issues and thus requires a high level of discretion.<br>With a minimum of 3 years Payroll experience and preferably a part of this gained within an NHS organisation you must be able to start immediately. Experience of all aspects of Payroll especially the SSP and SMP are essential as is knowledge of computerised Payroll and experience of the agenda for change scheme would be invaluable.<br>This NHS organisation is based in Manchester and has a large and busy Payroll department. Backlogs due to the agenda for change scheme have resulted in the urgent need for a Payroll Clerk.<br><b>Only applicants with a minimum of six months accounting experience, who are based in the UK and have the legal right to work in the UK will be considered.</b>
