Our client is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Britannia Building Society Group. It operates in modern offices in Plymouth city centre employing over 200 experienced and well trained staff. Due to significant business growth, they seek a Project Manager to take a lead on delivering group projects within the company.
Reporting to the Business Change Manager, you will manage the full project life cycle by liaising closely with members of the business areas, IT and third parties to ensure the group's projects are planned and implemented, often to tight timescales. In order to meet the requirements of this role, you will need:
* A practical and organised approach to planning and delivering your work
* A broad business background, including having previously contributed to business and data migration
* Excellent influencing, planning, interpersonal and communications skills
* Enthusiasm for project work and a flexible, can-do attitude
* The ability to take the big-picture view and think the wider implications of migration projects when balanced with other Business as Usual and project activities
* Great customer focus - both to internal resources and external third parties
* A proven ability to successfully lead and build a team
In addition, it would be an advantage to have knowledge and experience of MS office Software - Word, EXCEL and Project. You must have a methodical and organised approach and an aptitude for planning and forward thinking. The ability and desire to work to a detailed level, following procedures and standards, is essential.
The successful applicant will benefits from a salary of £30,000-£35,000 alongside a benefits package including pension, life cover, holiday pay, company sick pay, discretionary annual bonus scheme, an active sports and social club and corporate gym membership.
