Our Client is involved in providing specialist care home facilities and is looking to recruit a highly motivated, dynamic individual who will form part of the core management team running key financial procedures.
This is a hands on role and candidates must have a thorough understanding of financial accounts, be organised, able to think laterally, have excellent analytical skills and an ability to work to deadlines.
Reporting to the Group Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for controlling and developing the accounting function.
They will be responsible for the smooth running of all accounting systems, budgetary control, payroll and IT development.
Computer literacy and knowledge of Sage accounting software is essential.
The successful candidate will need to be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with post qualification experience in industry/commerce.
They must be confident in personality, be a good communicator, a team playerand have a track record of managing staff.
Experience of the healthcare industry would be an advantage but is not essential.
