Principal Auditor required to undertake audit duties/assignments covering the full range of the organisation''s services, including day to day monitoring and supervision of Senior Auditors, Auditors and Trainee Auditors. The role will offer valuable experience and significant career development opportunities for the right applicant, who will have an ongoing staff management and development role, together with the opportunity to contribute to the continued strategic and professional development of the unit.<br>The successful candidate will be a committed audit professional who can demonstrate extensive current audit experience. They will hold an appropriate, relevant professional qualification, be able to demonstrate a minimum of two years current experience of audit work at a senior level within the public sector, and should have a significant knowledge of modern audit techniques. They should also have a proven record of achievement and the ability to manage and deliver sensitive/strategic audit assignments/investigations/project work to a high-quality standard, within specified time constraints.<br>This senior operational post has arisen in a high profile internal audit environment which enjoys full operational independence within the organisation. The unit is a well-established in house provider of the full range of internal audit services across the organisation.
