Financial Controller required to assist the Directorate Accountant and Finance Manager in providing comprehensive financial and performance management support to the Trust. This role is pivotal to the organisation in achieving its performance objectives. You will provide high profile public health leadership to the PCT, the Council and all its partner agencies, and drive forward their health improvement implementation strategy.<br>This Financial Controller role offers a special opportunity for an exceptional public health professional with an appropriate qualification in public health. You will have practical experience at a senior level of facilitating and implementing change in public health practice. You will be able to demonstrate a successful track record of engaging with communities and in communicating and marketing the concept and means for better health and well being. You will be self motivated, able to manage budgets, think strategically, and successfully manage projects and change initiatives.<br>The PCT commissions the full range of NHS services, supports and GP practices, and is a major provider of services in the county. As a key appointment for the public service, this role has enormous potential to improve the health status of Derbyshire.
