Our client, a global investment management company based in Edinburgh are currently recruiting for a Fund Accountant to perform all daily work and reconciliations within policy and procedural guidelines, iInform appropriate supervisor of accounting or system related issues occurring within assigned funds and obtain complete understanding of daily workflow.
You will also be involved in preparing month end fund files and assist in preparation of month end department statistics. Other responsibilities include volunteering for and participating in department projects and actively participating in Performance Management Program and Training and Development.
You will preferrably have one to three years of mutual fund accounting, experience with automated financial systems, including a general ledger and working knowledge of mutual fund industry regulations.
