Global Financial Services Company has an excellent opportunity for a Trainee Mortgage Underwriter to develop a lucrative career within the sub prime mortgage industry.
Job purpose:
To Underwriter Mortgage applications, within an assigned lending mandate level, through to completion.
Training will be provided towards gaining a Mortgage Underwriting Mandate
Duties:
Process applications to offer, within assigned mandate level and agreed service standards to ensure all information is verified on receipt.
Follow the post Mortgage- Day porting process ensuring all porting enquiries are undertaken in a compliant manner.
Actively manage pre/post offer pipeline.
Maintain up to date awareness of current financial & regulatory requirements.
Action certificate of title/requests for funds as appropriate together with post and tasks relating to completion of mortgage cases
Obtain funds authorisation mandate
Essential Skills/Qualifications:
Previous mortgage administration/processing experience
Good customer service skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Good organisation skills
Package
The basic salary is £17-19k depending on experience + 10% Bonus (D) + excellent benefits package + Holidays. This job offers and excellent chance to move into mortgage underwriting.
