Financial Controller
Lancashire, Manchester
Up to £25,000 + phone + pension + bonuses
Our client has been delivering high performance, world class broadband networks, telecoms and support services to around 8000 users across the UK and Ireland. They have strategically designed and developed unique products and solutions to help businesses to success. Their entire portfolio of business services is delivered across their 3 datacentres, something which few competitors are able to provide at such a complex level. They are looking for a suitable and experienced Financial Controller for a small but growing IT Solutions Provider and ISP.
The role:
Your main skills will be in Sage Line 50 Financial Controller where all of the company's financial transactions are processed. Experience within the IT sector would be ideal, but not essential.
All financial controller tasks will be within your responsibility along with some credit control and booking keeping. You must be obsessively organised and must keep a close eye of the paperwork associated with such a position. Streamlining and evolving the accounts process with new and fresh ideas are more than welcome too.
You will be directly reporting to the board of directors with budget and cash flows, improvements within the accounts department, budgets for departments, liaising with the accountant to prepare accounts, processing VAT returns, monitoring and controlling expenditure, paying suppliers, minimising discrepancies and maximising on income.
You will be working alone so being self reliant, motivated and remaining professional is fundamental. Your role will be very closely associated to the directors and there is excellent scope for a Finance Manager role for the right candidate.
You must possess a driving license.
