Our client was established in 1951 and is the Country's leading independent group of used car hypermarkets. They currently operate from seven sites: Rochdale (Head Office), Newport (South Wales), Sheffield, Merseyside, West Midlands, Leeds & North East. They have also recently opened three new sites in London - Chertsey, Enfield and Lakeside. Each site comprises an average 12 acre freehold complex with a 100,000 square foot showroom. Over 1,500 cars are displayed at each site of which 400 are indoors. As a result, they offer unrivalled choice and facilities. This coupled with significant investment in advertising generates a huge number of customer visits per site per month. They are currently looking to recruit a Finance and Insurance Advisor.
As Finance and Insurance Advisor you will explain documentation to customers using the client's finance packages/cash purchases and maximise the sales of add-on products. You must maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and ensure regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
Deliveries
• Liaise between departments to ensure that sign up to delivery of the vehicle is completed as quickly as possible to maximise the amount of 1 hour drive-aways, whilst delivering as many cars as possible.
Sales
• Explain finance documentation to customers, ensuring compliance with the relevant regulators, FSA & CCA.
• Explain the features and benefits of our NAC extended guarantees, consolidating the sales.
• Explain and recommend adequate payment protection products to cover customer's loan agreements, whilst following the set FSA sales process.
• Work within the team to maximise sales and ensure the smooth running of the department.
Procedures
• Ensuring that all financial documentation is completed correctly and that the correct identification is taken and copied to ensure a successful payout of each deal.
• Checking, faxing and posting finance documents along with the required proofs and finance invoices to the correct finance companies on a daily basis.
• Correcting mistakes immediately which may occur in the document sending process which may prevent the client getting paid out by the finance company.
• Ensuring that all sales are accurately recorded on C3 and any re-signs are amended accordingly.
• Keeping all training records, audits and one-one's with your manager up to date in your Personal Development Files.
Customer Care
• Ensuring all customer communications are dealt with and relayed to relevant departments.
• Maintaining the highest level of customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Adhering and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
• Undertaking any other Duties as may be the responsibility requested from time to time.
