Our client is the leader in the UK steel processing and service centre sector, and part of one of the world's largest metal producers. They have unrivalled products, processing and technical recourses that enable them to provide innovative material solutions for their customers. Continued success has created a requirement for a Finance Manager to join the company's team based in Caldicot.
The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing the production of management information, including monthly and annual results, producing quarterly/annual forecasts and in conjunction with local Management prepare business cases for revenue and capital investment papers for both Caldicot and Colnbrook Flat Products businesses.
The role will be based at Caldicot (South Wales) but will entail managing your time between both sites. You will be an integral member of the local Management team, ensuring best practices within CD&BS are exploited to enhance business performance. The local Management Accountant at both sites will report directly into you.
Candidates should be qualified or actively studying for the final paper in a relevant accounting qualification and have at least 6 years' manufacturing/distribution business experience. You must also have good communication skills and have strong administration/financial systems knowledge.
