The Company: One of the leading vehicle leasing companies in the UK – a team providing financial, tax and HR consultancy services within new and existing business.
The Role: This is a newly created role, working alongside the new business sales and account management teams – you will provide consultancy services to current and potential clients. The purpose is to add value to the current level of services offered and be a key factor in retaining and winning key clients.
You need to understand individual clients’ issues and opportunities in the area of financing and cost management resulting from company car and van leasing, conduct evaluations of financial and cost implications of different fleet scenarios, produce board-room quality reports, support new business developers and account managers and provide non-financial consultative support on strategic fleet issues.
Responsibilities include:
· Meeting senior finance decision-makers
· Developing complex fleet financing solutions encompassing taxation rules and legislation
· Conduct financial analysis’
· Develop knowledge of non-financial areas impacting strategic fleet decisions
· Develop relationships with a large number of field sales staff
· Continually develop knowledge of financial and fleet issues
· Develop consultancy tools
About You: You are currently a Chartered Accountant with a strong sales awareness and excellent interpersonal skills. You do not need to have fleet sector experience, but must possess the ability to analyse situations and apply creative solutions.
You should:
· Be from a sound financial/accounting background – qualified or part-qualified ACA or CIMA
· Have an understanding of taxation issues affecting employers and employees from benefit provision
· Have excellent client-facing consultancy skills
· Be analytical with a sound commercial understanding
· Be willing to travel within the UK when client project work dictates
