Our Client is one of the country's leading providers of fire safety and security products. Due to their ongoing success they have a requirement for a Sales Executive / Sales Consultant based in their Liverpool office.
Your main role will be to achieve set sales targets and continue business growth within the core commercial area, promoting the company and its products and services. You will do this through utilising your selling skills in a combination of new business development plans and ensuring existing customers are reaching their full potential.
Other duties will include:
- Accurately recording and processing related documents and records
- Exercising commercial judgement and market knowledge in line with the company's requirements to determine the level of gross margin
- Territory planning and time management skills
- Maintaining up to date records and information systems, covering in detail all clients and prospects and the status of current negotiations
- Knowledge of the range of products / services both of our client and the wider market in general
- Maintaining a records system of contacts and business obtained
- Maintaining up to date literature, sales aids and price lists
To fulfil this role you must:
- Be able to demonstrate a high level of confidence, self motivation and initiative
- Possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Possess excellent presentation skills
- Possess exceptional attire at all times
- Demonstrate a keen customer focus
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and be a keen team player
- Show good product knowledge
Industry experience in sales or engineering is essential. Previous sales experience would also be an advantage, although full sales training for industry engineers, wanting to move into a sales arena, will be provided. You will also attend the company sales academy to help improve your knowledge.
Travel will be involved so you must hold a full driving licence.
