Our client is a specialist manufacturer of solid board packaging with a market reputation for service and quality. The company changed ownership last year, and the dynamic new management has an expansion drive and a strong sales focus. This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic, career-driven professional, who is looking to grow along with the company.
Our client is looking for a Field Sales Executive to be based predominantly from home with regular office visits to the factory premises in Broadstairs, Kent.
Within your role as Field Sales Executive, you will be involved the following activities:
* Generating leads and following up with visits, samples, and quotes
* Working in cooperation with the MD to develop the existing customer and product base
* Presenting the relevant product range and all aspects of our service package at various levels.
* Understanding/Consulting about quotes/estimates in conjunction with management.
* Achieving clearly defined goals and targets as agreed with management.
* Ensuring that customer contact is maintained and that their requests and inquiries are followed through.
* Working as part of a small friendly team to maximise sales.
* The role is predominantly a new business role so would suit someone with persistence and resilience.
The successful candidate will match the following profile of skills and experience:
* An experienced, motivated sales professional with a hunger to achieve sales targets
* Industry experience preferred but not essential
* Persistent, very self-motivated, enthusiastic and resilient
* Ability to present our products and service at Director level
* Good interpersonal skills at all levels, both face to face and on the phone.
* Flexible ‘can-do' attitude
