Our Client is a leading IT and Telecommunication solutions provider. Recent AIM listing has led to accelerated growth plans in mobile and IT based sales. Our Client is expanding its existing salesforce in Scotland and the North of England to cover the remainder of the UK over the next twelve months. They are recruiting sales professionals to sell Broadband Voice (VoIP) and Mobile Voice and Data solutions to the SME market place. The Salesforce is backed by experienced management and strong marketing and CRM resources.
The objective is to sell in the complete portfolio of mobile voice/data and VoIP products and services to prospective customers sourced by a variety of marketing activities. A consultative diagnostic approach will differentiate our client from the competition. Local presence with big company resources should be a strong incentive to SMEs. The new customer will then be receptive to other products as appropriate. For this reason the account manager retains ownership of the ongoing customer relationship. The sales person will be field based and fully equipped to operate away from the office. As our client's focus is on mobile technology our sales people will be a traveling showcase for all aspects of our services. Everything from the CRM product that stored the prospects details and managed the call back and appointment to the mobile phone, laptop with GPRS card, Blackberry email and even Broadband VoIP desk phone can be demonstrated.
A typical sell for mobile sales people would be business mobile contracts (T-Mobile, O2, Orange, Vodafone and Three), Blackberry/PDA solutions and Voice over IP. Nine months after the first sale the mobiles will be approaching review and there will be an opportunity to re-pitch.
The role is ultimately direct selling so the candidates must be able to self-generate opportunities through a number of means including cold-calling. Marketing leads and internal sales support functions will supplement this effort.
Training will be provided to enhance existing skills and knowledge thus enabling individuals to be consistently successful with multiple products over the long term. Candidates will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of hitting targets in their current employment.
