Managed Services New Business Sales (HOME BASED)
£40K Basic/£100K OTE Southern UK
New Business Managed Services Sales Exec's required for a services organisation southern based. You will have experience in selling solutions which could include hardware and services eg maintenance, consultancy, professional services, help desk, outsourcing, managed services. You will have 3-5 yrs exp in selling solutions with a new business focus. Focused on the mid market you will have a proven track record of success of new business sales.
PURPOSE
To secure new business opportunities and grow the active account base for the Company in the mid-market.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
1. Develop a ground plan and sales coverage plan to identify target accounts within an allocated vertical market or geographical area
2. Develop a good level of understanding about The Company, the core service offerings and capabilities in order to be able to accurately represent the business with prospects and customers
3. Develop peer-level relationships with alliance partners in order to exploit joint campaigns and business development activities
4. Establish a pipeline of qualified new sales opportunities in line with the Company's qualification criteria
5. Management of order backlog in line with the Company's policy for recognition of Annually Booked Revenues (ABR)
6. Lead and co-ordinate with Project Manager/Customer Services the delivery and project fulfilment, through to Customer satisfaction
7. Maintenance of an accurate records on sales database regarding activity, customer contact details and opportunities
8. Compliance with the Company's bid review policies
9. Performs duties in line with the published Sales Performance Standards
KEY MEASURES
Achievement of sales quotas (measured as gross margin)
No of calls/customer visits
Future pipeline of business (factored for probability)
No of new accounts
Monthly objectives (set by sales manager)
ESSENTIAL
At least 5 years experience in a role in the IT environment
At least 3 years experience in a Sales role
Awareness of current marketplace regarding pricing, competitors and industry best practice
Commercial awareness and appreciation of business fundamentals
Able to present convincingly to customers over the telephone and face to face
Excellent communication skills including oral and written
Ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally
Self motivated, enthusiastic and able to work under pressure unsupervised
Organised, able to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks
Educated to GCSE standard
Good software knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
DESIRABLE
Educated to A' Level standard or a relevant Degree
