Our client's busy Colchester depot services customers throughout the South-east and East Anglia including timber merchants, furniture manufacturers and shop fitters and has previously won the coveted TTJ Hardwood Trader of the Year Award in recognition of their commitment to excellence in both product offer and service levels.
They are looking for a mature, confident individual with a minimum of 2 years successful sales experience to join the busy field sales team.
In addition to developing new business, your role will be to sell their specialist range of hardwoods, clear softwoods and Scandinavian softwoods to existing customers including timber merchants, furniture manufacturers and shop-fitters.
The role calls for a committed, tenacious and enthusiastic individual who has first class communication skills together with the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with customers and colleagues. He/she will have a proven commercial track record with a good knowledge of the market sector, although not necessarily with previous timber experience.
