A major semiconductor manufacturer is seeking a Principal Test Group Leader, based in Wiltshire to take responsibility for the test development function within the development group. This group will develop automatic test solutions for the high volume production of mixed signal semiconductors.
Duties will include:
Resource planning
Recruitment.
Development of Automatic test solutions for high volume production of Mixed Signal semiconductors.
Characterisation of new designs during the development phase.
Addresses manufacturing, cost and yield issues which cross departmental boundaries
Able to design, code and debug advanced production test solutions
Detailed understanding of advanced production test methods
Develops test strategy on the most complex products
Communication with test and assembly contractors.
Development of Qualification program
Evaluation of: Time to market, Yield, Test cost-including test time and through put.
Ideal candidates will have at least 10+ years relevant experience in analogue / linear or mixed signal semiconductor test. Knowledge of Teradyne Catalyst and/or Teradyne Ultra-Flex testers would be desirable together with an in depth knowledge of production mixed-signal IC testers.
