Systems engineers to design and commission distributed networked communications systems inc. VoIP of values GBP300k - GBP1M. Duties include support field engineers on and off site; provide technical support to Sales and Marketing; design and implement system solutions to meet requirements; focus design efforts on innovation and cost minimisation; write systems specification; generate system acceptance criteria that do not expose company to risk yet satisfy requirement. Designs must take into account customer environment. Site work will represent period of intensive activity during which ability to work under pressure and improvise are essential. Applicants MUST have prior / recent relevant experience, min BTEC / HNC or equiv in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, MINIMUM 5 years experience in system manufacturing / installation and commissioning within communications environment AND knowledge of MOD standards. Please note this role is not suitable for people without recent relevant experience.
